This is the best Nelson Marek 454 on the market. There was a total hull and rigging refit done with no expense spared in 2002. This also included new fuel tanks (100 gallon) and water tanks (200 Gallons). New holding tank. Rigging upgraded for solo operation and a Alpha 3000 auto pilot installed. This refit was done with the plan to build a first class Race / Cruiser. Extensive work was done to the bottom. The center board allows a 5.5′ draft when up and drops down to a little over 9′ when down.
In 2016 all electrical systems were replaced, including a full suite of Garmin navigational components, A/C, Inverter, Charger, Pumps, Electric Toilets, wiring, and almost every hose in the boat.
